Dr. Katherine Robbins

Dr. Katherine Robbins earned her medical degree in 2020 from the University of Queensland Medical School, where she graduated first in her class. After a transitional intern year at HCA/USF Blake Medical Center, she completed dermatology residency in 2025 at the University of Arizona, serving as Chief Resident her final year.

Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Robbins provides comprehensive, evidence-based medical skin care. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Society for Melanoma Research.

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Robbins earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Washington in Seattle. She spent several years as a fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), researching novel treatments for tuberculosis, and at the University of Queensland, investigating melanoma plasticity and drug resistance. These experiences ignited a passion for translational oncology and a deep commitment to evidence-based medicine, which forms the foundation of her patient care. Committed to advancing medical education, she secured an Academy of Medical Education Scholars grant at the University of Arizona to develop a dermoscopy performance training mobile application for dermatology residents.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Robbins enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with her family. At Tucson Dermatology she looks forward to combining evidence-based medicine, innovative technology, and patient education to deliver high-quality, compassionate dermatologic care.
